At Airvest, we stand behind the quality of every product we sell. All our HVAC systems are covered by supplier-direct warranties—giving you confidence, peace of mind, and long-term support.
What Does the Warranty Cover?
Each product we supply comes with a manufacturer-backed warranty that covers defects in materials or workmanship under normal use and proper installation. Warranty periods vary by product type and supplier, and range between 12 to 60 months.
To qualify for warranty coverage:
- The product must be installed by a qualified and certified HVAC technician.
- The system must be regularly serviced according to the supplier’s maintenance schedule.
- You must retain your proof of purchase and complete service history.
How to Submit a Warranty Claim
If you believe your product qualifies for a warranty claim:
- Contact our support team at sales@airvesthvac.co.za.
- Provide a copy of your invoice and a full service record.
- Share a clear description of the issue and photos (if applicable).
- We will liaise directly with the supplier to assess the claim.
If the claim is valid, the supplier will determine the appropriate remedy:
- Repair of the unit
- Replacement with the same or equivalent product
- Refund, if a replacement is not available
What’s Not Covered
Warranties will be void if:
- The unit was installed by an unqualified or unregistered technician
- There is no service history or proof of regular maintenance
- Damage was caused by power surges, lightning, flooding, or external factors
- The product was misused, tampered with, or repaired without authorization
- The claim is for general wear and tear or cosmetic damage
Please note: Labour, call-out, travel, and removal/re-installation costs are not covered under warranty unless explicitly stated by the supplier.
Important Warranty Notes
- All warranties are subject to the supplier’s individual terms and conditions.
- Airvest acts as a reseller and will facilitate the process, but final decisions rest with the supplier or manufacturer.
- It is the owner’s responsibility to maintain proper records and ensure regular, compliant servicing.
